Ichinoseki-bari is a traditional technique that has been around for 400 years since the early Edo period. These are everyday utensils made of layered Japanese paper and finished with persimmon tannin.
At the festival venue, you can make a mini bag by making a basic shape out of newspaper and pasting it with your favorite chiyogami paper.
Even children can easily make it.
